IT Systems Engineer

Morris Technology has an immediate opening for an IT Systems Engineer. We are searching for a strategic thinker to be part of the ESS team. The ideal candidate has the opportunity to make an immediate impact while working with a great team and our customers. The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic insight to business operations
  • Planning and managing large scale mission critical projects
  • Conveying technical details to customers and end users

  • Prioritizing and delegating tasks efficiently
  • Formulating and presenting business plans to executives to guide long term purchasing decisions

Junior Solutions Developer


We are seeking a Junior Solutions Developer to join the team in downtown Statesboro. The ideal candidates must have enthusiasm for learning and push the boundaries of agile development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing/formatting/styling browser-based applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Working in Django, a Python-based web framework
  • QA testing of code and applying necessary modifications
  • Handling support issues and troubleshooting code
  • Managing databases and formulating SQL queries
  • Researching and learning new technologies
  • Using Git to collaborate with the team
  • Interacting with customers and team members through a ticket system

This is an entry level position, and we are open to candidates of any skill level.

Shift Specifics: 20 - 25 hours per week

Minimum Requirements: Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Must have a foundation level experience with a programming language. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to downtown Statesboro. This is an off-campus job.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience developing Web apps, mobile apps, UI design experience, Docker, Django framework, SQL, and/or Git.
